2026 Hyundai Exter Knight Edition Launched in India at Rs 8.14 Lakh

Hyundai Motor India has launched the 2026 Exter Knight Edition with prices starting at Rs 8.14 lakh (ex-showroom). Offered across select petrol and CNG variants, the special edition introduces cosmetic enhancements and an all-black interior treatment at a uniform premium of Rs 15,000 over corresponding standard trims.

Exterior and Cabin Styling Upgrades

The Knight Edition updates the micro-SUV's visual appeal through blacked-out accents and revised interior trims while retaining the overall body structure.

• Exterior Enhancements: Features matte black Hyundai and Exter badging, dark grey front and rear bumper garnishes, dark grey side sill trim and red front brake calipers.
• Wheels and Badging: Gets 15-inch wheels finished in dark grey or black depending on the variant, accompanied by an exclusive 'Knight' emblem on the tailgate.
• Interior Theme: Replaces the standard model's navy and grey cabin with an all-black theme. This comes paired with brass-coloured accents, black semi-fabric upholstery, and amber footwell lighting.
• Colour Palette: Available in five shades, that is Titanium Black, Atlas White, Starry Night, Titan Grey and Golden Bronze.

Powertrain and Equipment

Mechanically, the Exter Knight Edition remains unchanged. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine produces 83 hp and 114 Nm of torque. This is available with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. The factory-fitted CNG option generates 69 hp and 95 Nm, mated exclusively to the manual gearbox.

Equipment levels match the standard HX 6 and HX 10 trims. Features include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, single-pane sunroof, automatic climate control, wireless phone charger, connected car tech and a rear parking camera with sensors.

The introduction of the 2026 Exter Knight Edition provides a sportier factory option for micro-SUV buyers. By offering the dark-themed package at a modest price increment, Hyundai aims to maintain retail momentum in the competitive entry-level crossover segment.
