Honda Cars India has opened pre-launch bookings for the updated Elevate ahead of its scheduled launch on October 6, 2026. Customers can book the facelift at authorised Honda dealerships across India by paying a booking amount of Rs 21,000.
The company says the updated SUV will bring customer-requested features, bolder styling and a more premium cabin. India will be the first market to receive the facelift, with Honda set to reveal the complete details at the launch.
Elevate Facelift To Get Exterior And Cabin Updates
The Elevate was introduced in India in September 2023 and is now receiving its first major update. Honda has confirmed revisions to the exterior and interior, while keeping the complete list of changes under wraps until the launch.
Earlier spy images suggest that the facelift could feature a revised grille, updated lighting elements and refreshed exterior detailing. A new alloy wheel design may also be introduced, while the SUV is expected to retain its upright proportions.
Existing Petrol Engine Likely To Continue
The updated Elevate is expected to retain the 1.5-litre four-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine, which currently develops 121 PS and 145 Nm. The existing transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a CVT.
Honda has not yet announced the facelift's price. The outgoing model is currently priced from Rs 11.91 lakh to Rs 17.07 lakh, ex-showroom. The updated SUV will continue to compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyryder, along with the upcoming Hyundai Bayon.
Car Junction Insights
The facelift arrives at an important stage in the Elevate's market journey, with Honda focusing on features and cabin improvements rather than a complete redesign. The confirmed styling and interior changes should give the SUV a fresher appeal without moving away from its existing design direction. Pricing will be a key detail when Honda officially unveils the updated model on October 6.
