Specifications and Features Overview
Despite the updated price tag, the mechanical components and feature list of the sedan remain completely unchanged.
- Engine Output: Powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 89 bhp and 110 Nm of torque.
- Transmission Choices: Offered with a standard 5-speed manual or a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT).
- Key Equipment: Includes a full-LED lighting package, automatic climate control, touchscreen infotainment, and ADAS capabilities.
Car Junction’s Insights
Input cost pressures across the automotive industry continue to prompt mid-year price revisions. By capping the top-spec ZX CVT at Rs. 9.99 lakh, Honda strategically keeps its flagship trim below the psychological Rs. 10 lakh mark. Given that the Amaze remains one of the most accessible sedan offerings with ADAS, these nominal increases are unlikely to alter its competitive positioning against sub-compact rivals.
