Mahindra Scorpio Continues With the Same Powertrain
Mahindra has not made any mechanical or feature changes to the Scorpio. The SUV continues with its existing diesel engine and transmission setup. Power comes from a 2.2 litre four cylinder diesel engine. It develops 130 bhp and 300 Nm of peak torque.
The engine is paired with a six speed manual gearbox. An automatic transmission is still not available for the Scorpio. The Scorpio remains one of Mahindra's popular three row SUVs. It continues to appeal to buyers seeking rugged performance and everyday usability.
The latest revision follows similar price hikes across Mahindra's SUV portfolio. Recent updates have also affected the Bolero Neo, XUV 7XO, XEV 9S, XUV 3XO, Thar, and Bolero Neo Plus.
Scorpio isn't the only Mahindra SUV getting costlier, check out the Mahindra Bolero Neo price hike before you plan your purchase.
