Maruti Suzuki To Increase Car Prices From August 2026
Google News

Maruti Suzuki India has announced another price hike across its passenger vehicle lineup, effective from August 2026. This marks the second price revision in two months, following the company's previous increase in June/July 2026. Depending on the model and variant, prices will go up by up to Rs. 30,000.
According to the company's regulatory filing, the latest revision has been introduced due to rising input costs, inflationary pressures, and an adverse cost environment. Maruti Suzuki stated that it has been taking various cost-reduction measures to minimise the impact, but has now decided to pass on a part of the increased costs to customers.
Maruti Suzuki Confirms Price Hike Across Its Lineup
The company has clarified that the maximum increase will be Rs. 30,000, although the exact price revision will differ across models and variants. Model-wise revised prices have not yet been announced.
Maruti Suzuki offers one of the largest passenger vehicle lineups in India. Its range includes the Alto K10, S-Presso, Celerio, WagonR, Swift, Dzire, Baleno, Fronx, Brezza, Ertiga, XL6, Grand Vitara, Jimny, Invicto, e Vitara, and Victoris. The upcoming price revision is expected to affect most models in the lineup.
Buyers Have Time Until August To Purchase At Current Prices
Maruti Suzuki's revised prices will take effect from August 2026, giving buyers a short time to purchase at current prices. The announcement also comes ahead of the festive season, when demand for new vehicles typically increases.
Earlier this month, Maruti Suzuki raised prices for most of its popular models. However, the Victoris became cheaper after receiving a price reduction. The latest revision will increase prices across Maruti Suzuki's lineup, but the final hike will differ by model and variant.
