Maruti Brezza Facelift Reaches Dealerships Ahead of July 24 Launch

Maruti Suzuki has started dispatching the Brezza facelift to dealerships ahead of its launch. The updated SUV will officially debut on 24 July 2026. Moreover, bookings are already open for Rs. 11,000. Fresh spy images from a dealer yard reveal the updated design and hint at several feature and powertrain changes.

Fresh Exterior Design Spotted

A recent video shows the new Brezza facelift arriving at a dealership. The spotted model appears to be a lower variant with steel wheels. However, it still reveals several exterior updates. The front gets redesigned headlights, a new grille, and a revised bumper.

In addition, the fog lamp housing now features a triangular design. Lower variants may receive projector halogen headlamps. Meanwhile, higher variants are expected to offer LED headlamps and LED fog lamps. Previous spy shots have also revealed a fresh alloy wheel design for higher trims. The rear design remains largely unchanged compared to the current model.

Cabin Could Get More Features

The interior is expected to receive minor updates instead of a complete redesign. A larger touchscreen infotainment system could become the biggest highlight. Furthermore, Maruti may introduce additional convenience features to match newer rivals. These updates should improve the overall ownership experience.

Turbo Petrol Engine Likely to Join Lineup

The biggest update could arrive under the bonnet. Maruti is expected to introduce a 1.0 litre BoosterJet turbo petrol engine. This engine is likely to be shared with the Maruti Fronx Turbo. Reports suggest it could produce up to 120 PS of power.

In the Fronx, the same engine develops 99 bhp and 147.6 Nm of torque. Transmission choices may include a six speed manual and a six speed automatic gearbox. The facelift could also receive an underbody CNG tank, improving luggage space.

Launch Just Days Away

The Brezza remains one of India's highest selling compact SUVs. It competes with the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and other rivals.

With updated styling, new features, and a possible turbo petrol engine, the Brezza facelift aims to strengthen its position in the segment. More details, including prices and the complete variant lineup, will be announced during its official launch on 24 July 2026.
