Maruti Suzuki has officially commenced real-world testing of the 2026 Baleno facelift. Heavily camouflaged test mules were recently spotted on Indian roads, marking the first major update for the second-generation hatchback. The latest spy shots reveal a comprehensive redesign of the front profile. While the core silhouette remains familiar to maintain its mass-market appeal, the update focuses on a more modern aesthetic.

• Exterior Enhancements: The test mule features a wider grille housing a new chrome strip that connects the redesigned LED headlamp units. Other changes include a sportier front bumper with larger air intakes and fresh dual-tone alloy wheels.
• Premium Features: Speculation is high that Maruti will finally introduce an electric sunroof. This feature is currently offered by rivals like the Tata Altroz and Hyundai i20.
