Mahindra May 2026 Sales Performance Led by Scorpio-N and Thar

In May 2026, Mahindra sold 58,021 units, compared to 52,431 units in May 2025, delivering a strong 11% YoY growth. The brand also witnessed a clear market share shift across key models like Scorpio-N, Thar ROXX, and XUV 7XO. Compared to April 2026 sales of 56,331 units, the company recorded a 3% MoM growth, indicating steady month-on-month growth. Overall, the performance reflects stable demand in ICE SUVs with gradually expanding EV contribution in the portfolio.

Scorpio-N sold 15,774 units in May 2026, while April 2026 recorded 14,719 units. This reflects a 7.17% month-on-month increase. Compared to May 2025 sales of 14,401 units, it shows a 9.53% year-on-year rise.
Thar / ROXX recorded 10,787 units in May 2026, compared to 10,389 units in May 2025. This shows a 3.83% year-on-year increase. April 2026 stood at 10,459 units, leading to a 3.14% month-on-month growth.
XUV 7XO saw 9,338 units in May 2026, up from 8,630 units in April 2026. This shows an 8.20% month-on-month increase. Compared to May 2025’s 6,435 units, it reflects a strong 45.11% year-on-year jump.
Bolero sold 8,933 units in May 2026, with April 2026 at 8,917 units showing a 0.18% month-on-month change. It compares to 8,942 units in May 2025, resulting in a -0.10% year-on-year shift.
XUV 3XO / XUV 3XO EV recorded 6,717 units in May 2026, down from 7,517 units in April 2026. This shows a -10.64% month-on-month decline. Against 7,952 units in May 2025, it reflects a -15.53% year-on-year drop.
XEV 9S sold 3,502 units in May 2026, while April 2026 stood at 3,242 units, showing an 8.02% month-on-month rise. There were no sales in May 2025 as the model was not available.
XEV 9e registered 1,939 units in May 2026, compared to 1,611 units in April 2026. This indicates a 20.36% month-on-month increase. Against 2,815 units in May 2025, it shows a -31.12% year-on-year decline.
BE 6 recorded 902 units in May 2026, down from 1,170 units in April 2026. This shows a -22.91% month-on-month fall. Compared to 1,206 units in May 2025, it reflects a -25.21% yearly decline.
XUV 400 sold 129 units in May 2026, while April 2026 recorded 66 units, showing a 95.45% month-on-month surge. Compared to 287 units in May 2025, it shows a -55.05% year-on-year drop.
Marazzo recorded zero units in May 2026 and April 2026, while May 2025 had 4 units. This results in a -100% year-on-year change with no monthly movement.

Mahindra’s overall performance remains steady, supported mainly by strong SUV demand. However, EV sales are still inconsistent, showing that the shift towards electrification is still in progress.
