Model Wise Performance
1. Tata Punch

The Punch secured the top position by crossing the 20,000-unit milestone. It recorded an impressive 101.09% Year-on-Year (YoY) growth and a 3.94% Month-on-Month (MoM) increase. Buyers love its city-friendly design and excellent handling. The availability of electric, petrol, and CNG options helps cater to diverse needs.
2. Tata Nexon

The Nexon climbed to second place with strong YoY growth of 58.03%. However, its monthly momentum slowed down slightly with a 4% MoM decline. It remains a favourite due to its unique styling and multiple gearbox choices. The electric version continues to attract eco-conscious buyers.
3. Maruti Suzuki Dzire

The Maruti Dzire slipped to third place after dominating the market for months. It saw a modest 15.60% YoY growth but suffered a sharp 27% MoM decline. A scheduled factory maintenance shutdown restricted production heavily. However, core demand for this efficient compact sedan remains quite steady.
4. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R

The Wagon R jumped three spots to secure fourth place. It recorded a solid 31.11% YoY growth despite facing a minor 6.21% MoM decline. Maruti Suzuki introduced a new E85-compliant Bioflex variant this month. Its spacious cabin and high mileage keep it very popular among Indian families.
5. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga

The Ertiga remains the highest-selling multi-purpose vehicle in India today. It dropped two ranks because of the manufacturing halt, resulting in a 47% MoM drop. Despite that sequential dip, it maintained a 13.85% YoY growth. Large families favour it for its reliable performance and comfortable three-row seating.
6. Maruti Suzuki Swift

The Maruti Swift outperformed its premium hatchback siblings to take the sixth position. Deliveries fell by 13.15% MoM due to adjusted production priorities at factories. On the brighter side, it achieved a healthy 14.61% YoY growth. Drivers love its sporty character and great fuel efficiency.
7. Mahindra Scorpio

The Mahindra Scorpio represents Mahindra as the only large premium SUV on this list. Combined sales of the Classic and N variants registered a 10.65% YoY growth. Sequentially, the model faced a 10.60% MoM drop in deliveries. Robust build quality and high road presence drive its steady numbers.
8. Maruti Suzuki Fronx

The Fronx experienced a heavy rank drop from its second-place finish in May. Factory closures reduced its monthly deliveries significantly, leading to a 36.50% MoM decline. It still achieved a substantial 33.83% YoY growth. The crossover continues to hold its crown as a top Nexa seller.
9. Maruti Suzuki Baleno

The Maruti Baleno held the ninth spot as factory shutdowns slowed its overall momentum. Deliveries fell by 31.11% MoM compared to the previous month. Despite this short-term reduction, its annual sales grew by a strong 39.28% YoY. It continues to appeal to premium hatchback buyers.
10. Hyundai Venue

The Hyundai Venue entered the top ten list by replacing its sibling, the Creta. A fire at the Chennai plant halted production, causing an 8% MoM decline. Despite this major bottleneck, the compact SUV achieved a notable 57.13% YoY growth. Its premium features and updated styling attract many buyers.
