Volkswagen Taigun Facelift Launched, Price Starting from ₹10.99 Lakh

Following its grand unveiling on April 9, Volkswagen India has officially released the price list for the 2026 Taigun Facelift. The refreshed SUV now starts at an aggressive ₹10.99 lakh (ex-showroom), making it highly competitive in the mid-size SUV segment.

While the exterior and interior changes were detailed during the reveal, today’s launch focuses on value. Volkswagen has introduced a restructured ownership program, significantly slashing spare part costs and service package rates. All this was done to address the "high maintenance" perception often associated with the brand.

What’s New Today?

Beyond the on-paper price, the launch confirms several key value additions:

• Price Range: With the base price beginning from ₹10.99 lakh, it goes all the way up to 19.29 lakh for the highest variant.
• Enhanced Ownership: Optimized service costs with a 4-year standard warranty.
• New Colors: The lineup now includes "Steel Grey" and "Avocado Pearl" as standard options.
• Powertrain Choice: Both the 1.0L TSI (115hp) and the performance-oriented 1.5L TSI (150hp) remain available across refreshed trims.

With the pricing now out, the Taigun Facelift isn't just a cosmetic update, but a more affordable gateway into the German driving experience. By combining a lower entry price with reduced maintenance costs, Volkswagen is clearly aiming for the Indian mass market.
