Toyota Reports 32,516 July Sales with 4.65% Domestic Growth

New Delhi | August 1, 2026: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reported 32,516 total vehicle sales in July 2026. Compared to 32,575 units sold in July 2025, the company's overall sales witnessed a marginal 0.18% year-on-year decline. Despite the slight dip in total volumes, Toyota continued to record steady growth in its domestic business during the month.
Domestic Sales Grow While Exports Decline
Toyota's domestic sales reached 30,516 units in July 2026. This marks a 4.65% year-on-year growth over 29,159 units sold in July 2025. The company also recorded a 7.3% month-on-month increase in domestic sales over June 2026.
Export volumes, however, declined to 2,000 units from 3,416 units in July 2025, resulting in a 41.45% year-on-year decline. The lower export volumes offset the gains in domestic sales, leading to a marginal decline in Toyota's overall sales performance.

FY2026-27 Sales Maintain Positive Momentum
Toyota continued its strong domestic performance during the first four months of FY2026-27. Between April and July 2026, the company recorded 119,690 domestic sales, compared to 109,725 units during the same period last year. This represents a 9.08% year-on-year growth in domestic sales.
Despite lower export volumes, Toyota's overall sales reached 128,746 units during April-July 2026, up from 119,669 units in the same period last year.

Company Statement
Commenting on the July 2026 sales performance, Sabari Manohar, Executive Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said the company's steady performance reflects continued customer confidence in the Toyota brand.
He also noted that the launch of the all-new Toyota Hilux further strengthens Toyota's SUV portfolio in India as the company continues to focus on offering innovative mobility solutions and enhancing customer experience.
New Hilux Strengthens Toyota's Lineup
Toyota launched the all-new Hilux in July 2026, introducing an updated exterior, a redesigned cabin, and a new 4×2 automatic variant. The latest Hilux is priced between ₹31.99 lakh and ₹36.69 lakh (ex-showroom).
With the new Hilux joining its portfolio, Toyota aims to further strengthen its presence in the premium SUV and lifestyle pickup segment ahead of the festive season.
