Tata Tigor Facelift Rendered Globally Following Recent Leak

Tata Motors is preparing to launch the updated Tigor compact sedan across Indian markets. This upgrade follows the Tiago’s update late in May 2026. New design renders based on recently leaked official patents show the vehicle is getting a comprehensive aesthetic makeover.

Refreshed Exterior Design

The upcoming sedan inherits several visual upgrades from its sibling hatchback, the Tiago. The exterior layout introduces key modifications to help the car stand out in its crowded segment.

  • A completely redesigned front bumper gives the car a sharper look.
  • The front fascia gets an updated grille pattern matching Tata’s new design theme.
  • Brand-new LED headlamps and integrated daytime running lamps improve road visibility.
  • The vehicle includes a front-facing camera supporting a comprehensive 360-degree viewing system.

Reimagined Cabin Layout

The internal environment receives notable material changes aimed at elevating occupant comfort. The revisions follow the layout direction seen in the newer Sierra and Tiago models.

  • A fabric-finish dashboard treatment gives the cabin a modern texture.
  • The driver console uses a free-standing touchscreen infotainment interface.
  • A new twin-spoke steering wheel controls the digital instrument cluster.
  • The central stack features dual wireless phone charging stations and Type-C ports.

Powertrain and Trims

Buyers can select from three independent mechanical configurations upon commercial market launch. The setups provide multiple fuel and energy solutions for daily driving.

  • Petrol: A 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine paired with manual or AMT gearboxes.
  • CNG: A twin-cylinder variant adding AMT options and steering-mounted paddle shifters.
  • Electric: An EV model packing 19.2kWh or 24kWh battery packs for a 285km range.

The updated vehicle will likely reach Indian dealerships around the upcoming festive season. Market experts estimate the electric variant may adopt a competitive Battery-as-a-Service model to lower initial acquisition costs.
