At the same time, Altroz, Curvv and Tigor recorded lower sales than last year, showing that growth was concentrated around Tata's SUV and EV-focused models.

Punch and Nexon Remain the Main Volume Drivers

Punch/EV and Nexon/EV together contributed 38,784 units in July, accounting for more than 60% of Tata Motors' total sales in the first table. Their combined volumes gave the company a strong base despite declines in several other models.

The Punch alone contributed 21,313 units, while the Nexon added 17,471 units. This shows how heavily Tata's monthly passenger vehicle volume was concentrated around these two models.

Tata Sierra Crosses 50,000-Unit Sales Milestone

Among Tata Motors' key performers, the Sierra has also reached an important sales milestone. The SUV crossed 50,000 cumulative units, with 6,327 units sold in July 2026, making it the company's fourth best-selling model during the month. This comes despite sales moderating from the strong initial response to the SUV.

The Sierra received more than 70,000 bookings within the first 24 hours when bookings opened in December 2025. Monthly sales crossed 7,000 units in January and February and peaked at 9,003 units in March, before settling between 6,000 and 6,500 units. July sales include both the ICE and Sierra EV, which was launched in June, but combined volumes remained largely stable.
