Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo Adds Two Exclusive New Colours

Skoda Auto India has launched two new dual tone colour options for the Slavia Monte Carlo. The limited edition finishes include Shimla Green and Steel Grey.

The company will produce only 200 units with these exclusive paint schemes. The update adds more exclusivity without changing the sedan's design or features.

The new colours are available with both automatic powertrain options. Buyers can choose either the 1.0 TSI automatic or the 1.5 TSI DSG variant.

New Colours Add More Exclusivity

The Slavia Monte Carlo remains the sportiest version of the sedan. It continues to feature blacked out styling elements and black alloy wheels. Other highlights include Monte Carlo badging and a black and red themed cabin. The new dual tone colours further enhance its premium and sporty appearance.

Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Skoda Auto India, said the Monte Carlo has received strong customer response. He added that the new colours offer buyers more individuality while preserving the model's motorsport inspired identity.

Engine Options Remain Unchanged

No mechanical changes have been introduced with this update. The Slavia Monte Carlo continues with two turbo petrol engine choices. The 1.0 litre three cylinder TSI engine produces 115 PS and 178 Nm of torque. It comes paired with a six speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

The 1.5 litre four cylinder TSI engine delivers 150 PS and 250 Nm of torque. It is mated to a seven speed DSG automatic transmission. The larger engine also features Active Cylinder Technology to improve fuel efficiency. Plasma coated cylinder liners further reduce friction and improve thermal management.

Prices for the 1.0 TSI Monte Carlo start at Rs 16.19 lakh. The 1.5 TSI DSG variant starts at Rs 18.19 lakh, ex showroom.

Slavia Facelift Expected Soon

The Slavia has averaged around 1,000 monthly sales during the last three months. It remains among the stronger performers in the midsize sedan segment. The launch of these limited editions comes ahead of the expected Slavia facelift. Skoda has not officially linked the new colours with the upcoming update.

However, manufacturers often introduce special editions before a facelift to maintain buyer interest. With only 200 units planned, these exclusive versions could become the final limited run of the current Slavia Monte Carlo before the refreshed model arrives.
