Skoda Auto India has officially launched the performance-oriented Kodiaq RS SUV in the Indian market. This newly launched model carries an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 66.99 lakh. Imported via the completely built unit (CBU) route, the initial allocation of 50 units has already sold out entirely. Notably, the automaker has priced it 20 lakh over the top-spec L&K trim of the standard Kodiaq.
Powertrain and Performance Figures
The premium SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. This motor delivers a peak power output of 265 PS alongside 400 Nm of maximum torque.
Transmission duties are managed by a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Power is distributed to all four wheels via Skoda’s standard all-wheel-drive (AWD) system.
The vehicle achieves a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 6.3 seconds. This timing makes it the quickest production Skoda model ever sold in India, with a top speed rated at 231 km/h.
Design Updates and Mechanical Upgrades
The Kodiaq RS features several mechanical updates over the standard version to support its performance capabilities. It receives the latest Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC Plus) system with adaptive dampers, progressive steering, and multiple driving modes.
Visually, the RS variant is distinguished by sportier front and rear bumpers. It features a gloss black grille surround with an integrated horizontal light strip, along with blacked-out roof rails and window surrounds.
The SUV rides on exclusive 20-inch Elias alloy wheels and features polished stainless steel exhaust finishers.

The launch marks the first time Skoda has extended its performance-oriented RS badge to an SUV model within the Indian automotive sector. The immediate sell-out of the first 50 units highlights strong consumer demand for niche, high-performance variants in the luxury SUV space. Additional allocations remain unconfirmed by the manufacturer.
