Skoda Kodiaq RS Bookings Open at ₹3 Lakh
Google News

Skoda Kodiaq RS bookings have officially opened in India ahead of its launch. The SUV will be limited to just 50 units across the country, making it one of the most exclusive three-row performance SUVs on sale. Customers can reserve the model by paying a booking amount of ₹3 lakh, while the official pricing is expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The Kodiaq RS will sit above the standard Kodiaq L&K variant and will serve as the range-topping performance version.
Skoda Kodiaq RS Engine, Performance and Mechanical Setup
The Kodiaq RS is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine that produces 261 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. It comes paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox and a 4x4 all-wheel-drive system as standard.
The SUV is capable of accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 6.3 seconds, with a claimed top speed of 231 km/h. This performance places it significantly above the standard Kodiaq, with a stronger focus on acceleration and driving dynamics while still retaining its three-row layout.
Exterior Design, Colours and Styling Updates of Kodiaq RS
The Kodiaq RS gets a sharper exterior update that clearly distinguishes it from the standard model with a more performance-focused design language. The changes highlight its RS identity through darker elements and sportier detailing.
- Blacked-out grille for a sportier front look
- Darkened ORVMs, roof rails, and window surrounds
- 20-inch alloy wheels for a stronger road presence
- Red brake callipers adding a performance touch
- LED Matrix headlamps for premium lighting
- Glossy black exterior styling package
- 4 Colour options: Steel Grey, Velvet Red, Magic Black and Moon White
Kodiaq RS Interior Features, Technology and Safety Package
Inside, the Kodiaq RS continues with a sporty all-black cabin theme with RS-specific detailing and sport seats with red stitching, while still retaining its practical three-row layout. The focus remains on blending performance styling with premium comfort and modern technology.
- 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system paired with a digital instrument cluster
- Panoramic sunroof that adds to the cabin’s spacious feel
- Powered and ventilated front seats for improved comfort in all conditions
- 725W, 14-speaker Canton sound system for a premium in-cabin audio experience
- 360-degree camera system for easier parking and tight-space manoeuvring
- Safety suite with nine airbags along with adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist
Kodiaq RS Price Expectation and Market Position
While the official price has not yet been announced, the Skoda Kodiaq RS is expected to be launched at a starting price of above ₹50 lakh (ex-showroom). With limited availability and performance-focused upgrades, it will sit at the top of the Kodiaq lineup in India.
Given its limited production of just 50 units, the SUV is expected to appeal mainly to buyers looking for a performance-oriented three-row SUV with exclusivity and premium features.
