Skoda has officially revealed the production-spec version of the Epiq, a compact electric SUV that is now the company's entry-level EV. Positioned globally below the Elroq, the Epiq is designed to balance efficiency with utility, offering a range of up to 440km. The model adops the brand’s new "Modern Solid" design philosophy.
Modern Solid Design and Interior Technology
The Skoda Epiq measures 4,171mm in length and features a wheelbase of 2,601mm. Its exterior is characterized by upright proportions, a blacked-out grille section and T-shaped Matrix LED headlights. The vehicle achieves an aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.275, aided by aero-optimised alloy wheels ranging from 17 to 19 inches.
Inside, the cabin is dominated by a 13-inch Android-based infotainment touchscreen and a minimalist digital driver’s display. Despite the digital focus, Skoda has retained physical controls on the steering wheel and below the AC vents. The interior also emphasizes practicality with a 475-litre boot and an additional 25-litre frunk.
Key Interior & Safety Features:
- Connectivity: Wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a 10-speaker Canton sound system.
- Comfort: Panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and ambient lighting.
- Utility: Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging capabilities.
- Safety: 7 airbags, ADAS suite, and a 360-degree camera.
Powertrain, Battery, and Performance
Built on the MEB+ platform, the Epiq is available in three variants: 35, 40 and 55, all utilizing a front-wheel-drive (FWD) configuration. The top-tier variant offers a significant power boost and faster charging capabilities.

The Skoda Epiq represents a strategic shift for the brand as it targets the high-volume affordable EV segment. By sharing the MEB+ platform with the Volkswagen ID Polo, Skoda has managed to package premium features like V2L and advanced ADAS into a compact footprint. As the brand’s smallest EV, the Epiq aims to be a critical driver for Skoda’s electrification goals in urban markets.
