Renault India July 2026 Sales Rise 28% YoY to 3,293 Units

Renault India recorded a mixed performance in July 2026, with overall sales growing strongly compared with last year. The company benefited from higher year-on-year volumes, although the monthly performance weakened compared with June. The biggest concern remains the new-generation Duster, which has seen sales decline for four consecutive months after its launch.

Renault India Sales in July 2026

Renault India sold 3,293 units in July 2026, compared with 4,063 units in June 2026, resulting in an 18.95% MoM decline. However, sales increased from 2,575 units in July 2025, registering 27.88% YoY growth. The July performance therefore remained positive annually, despite the sharp decline from the previous month.

Renault Records Strong April-July Sales Growth

Renault India sold 16,882 units during April-July 2026, compared with 10,304 units in the corresponding period last year. This represents an increase of 6,578 units and translates into 63.84% growth. The stronger cumulative performance shows that Renault has maintained higher sales volumes through the first four months of the current financial year, despite the weaker monthly result in July.

Renault Expands Its SUV Offering With New Editions

Renault has continued to expand its SUV portfolio with the Duster Adventure Edition, introduced in June 2026. The special edition adds a distinct styling package to the Duster lineup, giving customers another variant alongside the standard versions.

The Nissan Tekton has also joined the alliance's mid-size SUV portfolio in India. Both models are produced at the Chennai facility, which supports Renault-Nissan's domestic and export operations.
