Nissan Tekton Rear Design Leaked Undisguised Ahead of Official July Debut

An undisguised image of the upcoming Nissan Tekton midsize SUV has surfaced online, capturing the vehicle entirely uncamouflaged. The vehicle was reportedly photographed during a television commercial shoot, evidenced by a camera rig vehicle visible in the background. This unexpected leak provides a definitive look at the rear profile of the vehicle, which Nissan has officially nicknamed the "Baby Patrol".

The engine lineup will cater to different price brackets. The entry-level variants will utilize the smaller turbo engine. The top-tier variants will leverage the performance-oriented 1.3-litre powertrain. Furthermore, a strong hybrid system is planned for a subsequent launch.

The undisguised leak offers a comprehensive preview of the production-ready SUV prior to its official global unveiling on July 9. Localizing the production of hybrid components through Horse Powertrain could provide Nissan a competitive pricing advantage in the segment.
