Next Gen Tata Nexon Spied Testing Ahead Of 2027 Launch: Expected Price, Design

Tata Motors is preparing the next generation Tata Nexon, with a heavily camouflaged test mule recently spotted on public roads. The sighting comes after nine years of updates for the sub compact SUV.

The Tata car is expected to bring changes to its design, cabin, features and powertrain lineup. It is likely to arrive around mid 2027, giving buyers a new option in a competitive segment. The changes could also affect its price and equipment levels.

The test vehicle remains heavily covered, but its silhouette and ORVM design suggest a next generation Nexon. Tata Motors appears to be working on a major update.

The next generation model is expected to retain these powertrain options. Tata could also add more transmission choices compared with the current model.

The CNG version could gain an AMT transmission. Meanwhile, the Nexon EV might receive a larger or denser battery pack.
