New Maruti Brezza Facelift Arrives on July 23 With Fresh Design and No ADAS

Maruti Suzuki is set to launch the 2026 Brezza facelift on July 23. The updated SUV is expected to receive cosmetic changes, new features and a possible turbo-petrol engine. However, the facelift is unlikely to get an ADAS suite. The refreshed Brezza will continue to compete in the popular sub-4-metre SUV segment.

Maruti Brezza Facelift Could Get Functional Upgrades

The upcoming Brezza facelift is expected to focus more on practical improvements than major design changes. Along with a refreshed look, the SUV could receive several feature upgrades.

Key Highlights

  • Refreshed Exterior: The facelift may get revised headlamps, tail lamps, updated bumpers, and newly designed alloy wheels.
  • Updated Cabin: Buyers can expect refreshed interior trims and new colour options for a more modern look.
  • New Infotainment System: Maruti could offer a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen, similar to the one available in the Victoris.
  • More Comfort Features: Front ventilated seats, a powered driver's seat, and ambient lighting may also join the feature list.

Turbo-Petrol Engine Could Join the Lineup

One of the biggest updates could be the addition of a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. This engine is expected to come from the Maruti Fronx.

The turbo engine produces 100 PS of power and 147.6 Nm of torque in the Fronx. Buyers may get a choice between a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The existing 1.5-litre K15C Smart Hybrid petrol engine is also expected to continue. It delivers 103 PS and 139 Nm of torque. Maruti is also likely to retain the CNG option.

Brezza CNG Could Become More Practical

The updated Brezza CNG may feature an underbody-mounted CNG tank. This setup can free up luggage space, unlike the current model. As a result, buyers could enjoy better practicality without compromising boot capacity.

Lower GST May Benefit Buyers

The new 1.0-litre turbo engine could qualify for a lower GST slab than the existing 1.5-litre petrol engine. Therefore, the turbo variants may remain competitively priced despite offering better performance.

Once launched, the Brezza facelift will continue to rival the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Skoda Kylaq and Toyota Taisor. With new features, a possible turbo engine, and improved practicality, the updated Brezza could attract more buyers in the compact SUV segment.
