MG to Increase Car Prices by Up to 3% Starting July 2026

JSW MG Motor India has announced a price increase across its entire vehicle lineup in India. From 1 July 2026, all MG cars will cost more, with prices expected to go up by as much as 3%. The revision applies to both petrol and electric models sold in the country.
The company has said that rising input costs and higher operational expenses are the main reasons behind this change. The new prices will be implemented nationwide and will differ depending on the model and variant.
Price Hike Details and Affected Models
The price revision will impact MG’s entire lineup, including the Astor, Hector, Hector Plus, Comet EV, Windsor EV, Cyberster, M9, and Majestor. No model will see an increase of more than 3%, as confirmed by the company.
However, exact variant-wise price changes have not been revealed yet. This is the third price revision by MG in 2026 due to ongoing cost pressures in the automotive industry.
What Buyers Should Know Before the Price Change?
Customers planning to buy an MG vehicle may want to complete their purchase before 30 June 2026. After this date, updated prices will apply across all dealerships in India. Even a small percentage hike can affect the final on-road price, especially for higher-end SUVs and EVs, making early purchase a more cost-effective option.
