Production Shutdown Leads to Broad Monthly Sales Decline
Maruti Suzuki's month-on-month sales declined in June 2026 mainly due to its scheduled production shutdown and inventory adjustments. Most models recorded lower sales compared to May, with several high-volume and entry-level vehicles witnessing notable declines. Despite the overall slowdown, a few models managed to register positive monthly growth, while others reported only marginal drops. The overall decline is largely attributed to temporary production constraints rather than a fall in customer demand.
