Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has launched its first factory fitted CNG vehicle for the Indian market, the XUV 3XO ZNG, at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new CNG SUV is offered in three variants and uses a 1.2 litre turbo-petrol engine. Based on the XUV 3XO, it combines turbocharged performance with CNG efficiency. Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG - MX Edge

This MX Edge variant acts as the base variant of the CNG lineup. It comes with a price tag of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). On the features front, it is decently equipped with comfort and convenience features to make the occupants happy. It offers fabric seats, halogen headlamps, a touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity, among other features.

The AX5 variant, in my opinion, is a good choice at Rs 11.19 lakh (ex-showroom). This version is available with more practical, better convenience, and feel-good features packed into a single variant. It acts as the third variant of the lineup, and the features of this variant are listed below that it offers over the REVX Edge (O).

The Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG is a compelling option in the sub-4-metre SUV segment. The AX5 variant looks like the best choice for buyers looking for a mix of good features and premium cabin appeal. Priced at Rs 11.19 lakh, it costs Rs 1.20 lakh more than the base variant but adds several significant features, including LED lighting, a dual-screen setup, dual-zone climate control and more.

Compared to the REVX Edge (O), the AX5 costs just Rs 40,000 more while offering several additional features. Therefore, our pick for the most value-for-money variant is the AX5 CNG.
