Mahindra SUV Domestic Sales Surge 25% YoY in March

Mahindra's passenger vehicle segment, which is now entirely comprised of Utility Vehicles (UVs), saw impressive year-on-year growth in March 2026. The company successfully clocked 60,272 units in the domestic market alone, maintaining strong momentum as the financial year ended.

Beyond the monthly performance, the Year-to-Date (YTD) statistics reveal a milestone year for the brand. Mahindra surpassed the 6.6 lakh unit mark (6,60,276) for SUVs in FY26, representing a solid 20% increase compared to 5,51,487 units sold in the previous fiscal year. This consistent performance underscores the high demand for Mahindra's flagship models and its successful production ramp-up throughout the year.

Official Statement: A Milestone Financial Year

Commenting on the achievement, Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., highlighted the significance of these figures as:

"The Financial year ended on a very positive note, with Mahindra clocking its highest-ever volumes in the SUV segment, a significant milestone for the company. In March, we achieved SUV sales of 60,272 units, a growth of 25%."
