Mahindra Reports 19% Growth in SUV Sales

Mumbai, March 01, 2026: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.), one of India’s leading automotive companies, announced its SUV sales performance for February 2026. The company recorded total SUV sales of 60,018 units, including exports, showing a 19% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to the same month last year.

The strong performance highlights steady customer demand for Mahindra’s utility vehicle lineup across markets. The company continues to see positive response from buyers, supported by its wide SUV portfolio and growing brand presence in India.

Domestic Utility Vehicle Sales Performance

In the domestic market, Mahindra recorded 60,018 Utility Vehicle (UV) sales, compared to 50,420 units in the same month last year. This translates into a solid 19% growth. The company maintained consistent sales momentum as SUVs remain one of the most preferred vehicle categories among Indian customers.

Mahindra’s passenger vehicle business is largely driven by its SUV range, which continues to contribute significantly to overall sales numbers.

YTD Performance Shows Consistent Growth

Mahindra also reported a strong year-to-date (YTD) sales performance for FY2026. The company sold 600,004 passenger vehicles till February 2026, compared to 503,439 units during the same period last year. This reflects a steady 19% growth, indicating sustained demand throughout the financial year.
