Mahindra BE 7 Could Debut on August 15 With 600 km Claimed Range

Mahindra has been spotted testing the upcoming BE 7 electric SUV near its SUV Proving Track in Chennai. The new model will become the brand's fourth Electric Origin SUV after the BE 6, XEV 9e, and XEV 9S. Although Mahindra has not confirmed a launch date, the BE 7 could debut on August 15, 2026.

BE 7 Expected to Follow the Concept Design

Mahindra first showcased the SUV as the "BE.07 concept". The production model is expected to retain most of its original styling.

• Larger SUV: The BE 7 is expected to sit above the BE 6 in Mahindra's electric SUV lineup.

The latest spy images suggest Mahindra remains close to the original BE.07 concept design.

Modern Cabin With Triple Screens Expected

The upcoming BE 7 could feature a futuristic cabin inspired by the BE 6 and XEV models. Mahindra may offer a triple-screen dashboard with three 12.3-inch displays. The SUV could also receive sporty seats and redesigned door panels. Unlike the BE 6, the cabin may not have a physical divider between the front occupants.

Battery Options Could Match Other INGLO Models

Mahindra is expected to use the same battery options available in its existing Electric Origin SUVs. The BE 7 may offer 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs. The larger battery could deliver a claimed range of around 600 km. Mahindra is also expected to promise a real-world driving range of nearly 500 km.

The BE 7 will strengthen Mahindra's growing Electric Origin range. It will offer buyers another premium electric SUV option above the BE 6. While the company has not confirmed an official debut date, industry reports suggest an unveiling could happen on August 15, 2026.
