Land Rover Introduces New Discovery Landmark Edition
Google News

Land Rover has officially expanded its premium SUV line-up by adding the new Discovery Landmark Edition variant. Positioned as a mid-tier offering, the model slots directly between the base S variant and the top-tier Tempest edition. A noteworthy fact is that the official prices have not been announced yet.
Distinctive Styling and Heritage Aesthetics
The Landmark Edition introduces a unique Tasman Blue metallic paint finish. This exclusive shade draws direct inspiration from the heritage Clearwater Blue colour found on the original 1989 first-generation Discovery.
Exterior visual accents include a Graphite Atlas finish across the front grille, side fender vents, and vehicle lettering. Furthermore, the front and rear skid plates are painted in Carpathian Grey, while the SUV rides on 21-inch alloy wheels. This is all featuring a Dark Agate Grey finish.
A distinctive mountain logo serves as a signature element for this edition. It is prominently displayed on the front scuff plates, centre console, B-pillar inserts and via the door puddle lamp projectors.
Cabin Upgrades and Standard Equipment
Inside the cabin, the premium family SUV receives brushed aluminium accents integrated with subtle Landmark branding. The dashboard assembly and interior door pads are trimmed in premium Tech Velour faux suede material.
Standard convenience equipment for this variant is upgraded to include a sliding panoramic glass sunroof alongside a refrigerated compartment situated within the central console. Additionally, Jaguar Land Rover has standardized a new driver attention monitoring safety system across the entire updated Discovery range.

The revival of the Landmark nameplate marks a significant update for the fifth-generation SUV, which has been active in global markets since 2017. Historically, Land Rover has utilized this specific designation to signify final-run special versions before a model's retirement. This addition allows the manufacturer to streamline its product line-up, offering an enhanced specification package. Efforts are made before the luxury nameplate undergoes an expected strategic repositioning.
