Lamborghini has conducted the first edition of its Esperienza Corsa India customer driving programme at the Buddh International Circuit. Held from September 12 to 14, 2026, the three-day event gave invited customers an opportunity to drive the Temerario on the racetrack under the guidance of professional instructors.
The programme marked the first time Lamborghini's Esperienza Corsa driving experience was held in India. The event focused on the Temerario's performance, handling and hybrid technology, while customers also experienced the Urus SE through a dedicated 4x4 activity.
Temerario Takes To The Buddh Circuit
The Buddh International Circuit, which previously hosted the Formula One Indian Grand Prix, was used for dedicated track sessions with the Temerario. Customers were introduced to the car's different driving modes and experienced how each setting changes its dynamic response.
The sessions covered acceleration, braking and handling, along with the operation of the Temerario's hybrid powertrain. Professional instructors guided participants through the activities, allowing them to explore the car's capabilities in a controlled environment.
Temerario Gets 4.0-Litre Twin-Turbo V8
The Temerario is Lamborghini's second High-Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV). It combines a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with three electric motors and produces a total output of 920 CV.
The V8 engine can rev up to 10,000 rpm, which Lamborghini says makes it the first and only production super sports car engine capable of reaching this engine speed. The car combines its electrified powertrain with advanced vehicle dynamics and precise handling.
Urus SE Gets A Dedicated 4x4 Experience
Alongside the Temerario track programme, Lamborghini offered customers a separate 4x4 experience with the Urus SE. The activity was held at the slalom course at Buddh International Circuit and focused on the Super SUV's versatility.
The Urus SE uses a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, an electric motor and a 25.9 kWh lithium-ion battery. Its hybrid powertrain produces 800 CV and 950 Nm of torque, combining the performance of the V8 with electric assistance.
Lamborghini Expands Customer Experiences In India
Francesco Scardaoni, Region Director of Automobili Lamborghini Asia Pacific, said:
“The inaugural edition of Esperienza Corsa India represents an important milestone for Lamborghini and our customers in India. Bringing the Temerario to the racetrack gives them the opportunity to experience its performance, precision and innovative hybrid technology in an environment where its capabilities can truly be explored. India continues to be an important market for Lamborghini, and programmes such as Esperienza Corsa allow us to deepen our relationship with our growing customer community through the unmistakable driving emotion that defines Lamborghini." ”
Echoing this focus on customer engagement, Nidhi Kaistha, Head of Lamborghini India, highlighted how the programme gave customers different ways to experience the brand. She said:
“At Lamborghini, our customers are at the heart of everything we do. Esperienza Corsa India reflects our commitment to creating distinctive experiences that allow our customers to engage with Lamborghini brand beyond ownership. Experiencing the Temerario on track, complemented by a dedicated 4x4 experience with the Urus SE, gave our customers two very different expressions of Lamborghini performance. We will continue to create experiences that bring out customers together and strengthen the sense of Lamborghini community in India.”
Esperienza Terra Preceded Corsa In India
The Esperienza Corsa programme follows Lamborghini's first Esperienza Terra India event, which was held earlier this year. The six-day expedition brought together 18 customers from across India and took them through Ladakh, reaching altitudes of up to 5,300 metres.
The two programmes offer different types of customer experiences in India. Esperienza Terra focused on high-altitude exploration, while Esperienza Corsa brought customers to a racetrack to experience Lamborghini's performance-focused models.
Car Junction Insights
The first Esperienza Corsa in India shows how Lamborghini is giving customers more ways to experience its cars beyond regular road driving. Bringing the Temerario to Buddh International Circuit also gives customers a closer look at its hybrid powertrain and track-focused performance. The combination of the Temerario track sessions and Urus SE 4x4 experience makes the programme a broader showcase of Lamborghini’s current performance range.
