Kia India Increases Prices Across Portfolio By Up To Rs 32,500

Kia India has implemented a price hike across its mainstream vehicle lineup, effective from July 1, 2026. The upward revision affects popular models including the Sonet, Seltos and Carens Clavis. Different models received different price hikes, where Sonet got least and Seltos got maximum.
Rising Input Costs Trigger Revision
The carmaker previously announced a price hike of up to 2% to counter escalating commodity and logistics costs. While Kia absorbed a significant portion of these rising input expenses, it has passed the remaining burden onto buyers. The exact premium varies depending on the specific model, trim level, and powertrain chosen by the customer.
Seltos Faces Highest Price Bump
The mid-size Seltos SUV received the steepest upward adjustment in this round of revisions. Conversely, the Carens Clavis MPV witnessed the lowest overall price hikes among the mainstream trio.
Key details of the model-wise increments include:
- Kia Sonet: Prices increased up to Rs 18,400, though certain diesel variants remain unaffected.
- Kia Carens Clavis: The MPV sees uniform, minimal increases capping out at Rs 8,200.
- Kia Seltos: The flagship SUV sees major increments ranging up to Rs 32,500.
