Honda Cars India has announced its sales performance for July 2026, reporting 8,284 total vehicle sales during the month. This includes 6,014 domestic sales and 2,270 export units. Compared to 7,524 units sold in July 2025, the company registered a 10.10% year-on-year growth, driven by a strong increase in domestic demand.
Domestic Sales Drive Honda's July Performance
Honda's domestic sales reached 6,014 units in July 2026, compared to 4,050 units in the same month last year. This represents a 48.49% year-on-year growth, reflecting improved demand across the company's passenger vehicle lineup.
Meanwhile, exports stood at 2,270 units, down from 3,474 units in July 2025. Despite the decline in export volumes, stronger domestic sales helped Honda achieve overall growth during the month.

Honda Maintains Strong FY2026-27 Growth
Honda continued its positive performance during the April-July 2026 period. The company recorded 29,863 total sales, compared to 23,504 units during the corresponding period last year, registering a 27.05% year-on-year growth.
Domestic sales increased to 20,437 units, up 27.91% from 15,978 units. Export sales also grew to 9,426 units, registering a 25.25% increase over 7,526 units recorded during the same period last year.

Company Statement
Commenting on the July 2026 sales performance, Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India, said the company's 48.49% growth in domestic sales reflects the positive momentum across its passenger vehicle portfolio. He added that the recently introduced New Honda City and the launch of the Honda ZR-V have received an encouraging response from customers. Behl also noted that the Elevate and Amaze continue to record healthy demand in the market. He expressed confidence that Honda's expanded product lineup and customer-focused initiatives will help sustain this momentum during the upcoming festive season.
Honda Expands Product Portfolio
Honda is preparing to expand its product lineup in India over the coming years. The company has started testing the Honda 0 Alpha eSUV, which is expected to launch in 2027 as its first dedicated electric SUV for India.
Honda has also confirmed plans to introduce two new India-focused SUVs from 2028 onwards, including a sub-4 metre SUV and a midsize SUV. Overall, the company aims to launch 10 new models in India by 2030, spanning petrol, hybrid, and electric powertrains.
