Car Junction’s Analysis
In July, Honda recorded a solid domestic sales baseline of 6,014 units, primarily anchored by key volume drivers like the Amaze (3,436 units) and Elevate (1,949 units). Honda City and newly launched ZR-V also accounts in the sales with 571 units and 58 units respectively in the steady growth.
While August witnessed a slight sequential correction in domestic dispatches to 5,385 units, the underlying retail momentum remains strong. Supported by early festive traction starting with Onam and expanding interest in the refreshed City and ZR-V, Car Junction projects Honda’s September domestic sales to bounce back into the 5,800 to 6,400 unit range as peak festive deliveries pick up pace.
