BMW Group India Announces 2% Price Hike From July 2026

BMW Group India has announced that prices across its BMW and MINI lineup will increase by up to 2% starting July 1, 2026. The revision will apply to both locally assembled models and completely built-up unit (CBU) imports sold in India.
The company said the price hike has been triggered by the depreciation of the Indian rupee and rising logistics costs. BMW added that the move is aimed at maintaining premium standards and supporting its overall ownership experience in the Indian market.
Price Hike Applies Across BMW and MINI Lineup
The upcoming revision will impact a wide range of BMW models. This includes the 3 Series Long Wheelbase, 5 Series Long Wheelbase, X1, X3, X5, X7, 7 Series, M340i and iX1 Long Wheelbase. Imported models such as the M4 Competition, M5, XM, i7 and iX will also see higher prices, along with the entire MINI range including the Cooper and Countryman.
The increase is expected to vary by model, with entry-level luxury cars like the X1 likely to become costlier by around ₹1 lakh. However, higher-end models such as the X5 and 7 Series may see hikes of ₹2 lakh to ₹4 lakh depending on the variant.
Second Price Revision in 2026
This is the second price hike from BMW Group India this year, after a similar increase of up to 2% implemented in April 2026. At that time, the company cited rising input costs, logistics expenses and currency fluctuations as the main reasons.
BMW has stated that despite strong demand, luxury carmakers remain highly exposed to exchange-rate changes due to imported components and CBU vehicles. To support customers, BMW India Financial Services will continue offering financing solutions to ease the impact of the price revision.
