2026 Hyundai Verna Debuts in India at Rs. 10.98 Lakh

Hyundai Motor India has officially launched the 2026 Verna updated model, with prices starting at Rs. 10.98 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated sedan got first-in-segment feature updates both in interior and exterior. This launch follows a series of sightings of test mules, confirming significant updates to the vehicle's exterior and interior. Through this refreshed design and enhanced features, the model is set to maintain its competitiveness in the mid-size sedan segment.
Key Features and Specifications
The 2026 Hyundai Verna features a revised facia, including seemingly vertical headlights and a redesigned grille. Inside, the cabin now includes a dual-screen curved display, integrating the digital instrument cluster and the touchscreen infotainment system. A detailed upgrades are listed below:

- Exterior Styling: Features a black chrome radiator grille, dual LED projector headlamps, bold front/rear bumper designs and new R16 diamond-cut alloys.
- Dimensions: It is the widest sedan in its segment (1,765 mm) and features the longest wheelbase (2,670 mm).
- New Colors: Two new options, Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte, have been added to the palette.
Interiors and Technology

- Dual Integrated Displays: A segment-first dual 52.06 cm (10.25” + 10.25”) setup for the infotainment and digital cluster.
- Audio and Connectivity: Equipped with a 1st-in-segment Bose premium 8-speaker sound system and over 70 connected features via Hyundai Bluelink.
- Comfort: Includes an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory and welcome retract function. Also, a 4-way power-adjustable passenger seat added with a walk-in device.
Safety and Performance

- Safety Suite: The sedan offers over 75 advanced safety features, including Level 2 ADAS (Hyundai SmartSense) and a segment-first 7-airbag system.
- Performance: The 1.5 litre Turbo GDi petrol engine is the most powerful in its segment, delivering 117.5 kW (160 PS) and 253 Nm of torque.
