Toyota Kirloskar Motor has officially rolled out a mild refresh for its highly popular multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), the Innova Crysta. The model is launched with a starting price of Rs. 19.72 lakh (ex-showroom). Available in both 7 and 8-seater configurations and multiple trims, this minor upgrade is widely expected to be the final iteration of Crysta. It is expected that Toyota India will phase out the vehicle around 2027.
Aesthetic Revisions and Upgraded Cabin Features
The exterior styling updates to the 2026 Innova Crysta lean into a bolder visual profile. The front fascia introduces a redesigned, modernized radiator grille wrapped in distinct chrome framing. This is accompanied by subtle structural modifications to both the front and rear bumper garnish appliques.
On the interior front, Toyota has updated the overall color palette and materials to deliver a more modern experience. This is done through replacing older trims with dual-tone hazel brown and black leatherette seat upholstery alongside updated "Grace Copper" inserts.
Furthermore, the vehicle's equipment package sees an expansion to better meet modern market expectations while retaining its robust foundation.
Key technical and variant specifications for the 2026 lineup include:
- Powertrain Consistency: The model continues to use its 2.4-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, delivering 148 bhp and 343 Nm of torque with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
- New Comfort Technology: Integration of a factory-fitted wireless smartphone charging pad and a dedicated Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
- Core Cabin Amenities: Retains the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment interface. This supports smartphone connectivity, automatic climate control, a cooling-equipped upper glovebox, and foldable seatback tables.
- Variant Pricing Structure: The 7-seater models span from the base GX/GX Fleet at ₹19.72 lakh, moving up to the GX+ (₹21.15 lakh) . The mid-tier VX costs ₹24.93 lakh and at the top is premium ZX trim priced at ₹26.63 lakh.
The 2026 refresh allows the legacy Innova Crysta to co-exist cleanly beside the newer monocoque-based Innova Hycross hybrid. By adding critical convenience features like a wireless charger and updating the cabin styling, Toyota preserves strong value retention for a highly reliable diesel model. This localized update ensures the vehicle remains a dominant choice for long-distance highway fleets and corporate car buyers..
