Google News

Renault will unveil the facelifted Kwid on July 3. Although the company has not disclosed official details, earlier spy shots indicate the hatchback could receive a Dacia Spring-inspired exterior, an updated cabin, and new features. The facelift is also expected to continue with the existing 1.0-litre petrol engine.
Price Expected To Increase
Renault is likely to price the facelifted Kwid at a slight premium over the current model. At present, the Kwid is priced between Rs 4.30 lakh and Rs 5.88 lakh (ex-showroom).
Existing Engine Likely To Continue
The facelifted Renault Kwid is expected to retain the current 68 hp 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine.
Transmission options are also likely to remain unchanged. Buyers can expect the same 5-speed manual gearbox and 5-speed AMT.
Dacia Spring-Inspired Exterior Expected
The 2026 Renault Kwid is likely to receive a comprehensive styling update inspired by the Dacia Spring EV. Spy shots suggest the hatchback could feature new Y-shaped LED daytime running lamps and matching Y-shaped tail-lamps.
The headlamps are expected to remain halogen units. Renault could also introduce redesigned front and rear bumpers along with a fresh set of alloy wheels.
Cabin May Receive Larger Touchscreen And Safety Upgrades
Spy images indicate the facelifted Kwid could get a redesigned dashboard with a larger 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The cabin is also expected to feature a new steering wheel and a revised instrument cluster.
Renault may strengthen the safety package by offering six airbags. These updates are expected to give the hatchback a more modern appearance without significantly changing the overall cabin layout.
