Table of Content

Renault India reported a strong performance in March 2026. The company sold 5,046 units in the domestic market. This shows a sharp 77% growth compared to March last year. Moreover, this became one of the brand’s best monthly results in recent times.

This growth came at the right time. The company recently introduced the new Duster SUV, which supported overall sales. In addition, steady demand for Kiger and Triber also helped the brand move forward.

As seen above, sales increased not only year-on-year but also month-on-month. Therefore, Renault continued its positive growth trend from earlier months.

Kiger and Triber Continue to Lead

Renault’s Kiger and Triber remained key products. Together, these two models contributed around 63% of total March sales.

Moreover, the company updated both models in late 2025. These updates improved their value and features. As a result, buyers looking for budget-friendly options showed strong interest.

Duster Launch Adds Fresh Momentum

The new Duster played an important role in this growth. Dealerships started receiving units in late March. Meanwhile, turbo-petrol variants have already reached customers.

In addition, Renault plans to launch strong-hybrid variants soon. Bookings for the Duster started at Rs 21,000, which created early demand. Perhaps, this timing also matched the upcoming festive season, which helped boost interest.

Improved Strategy Drives Growth

Renault focused on better products and stronger market execution. In addition, the Renault-Nissan alliance continues to support value-driven offerings. However, the company now aims to grow further with the Duster in the mid-size SUV segment.
