New-Gen Renault Duster Revealed in India Ahead of 2026 Launch
Google News

Renault India has officially unveiled the new-generation Duster for the Indian market. Although the prices will be announced in March 2026, the company has already opened pre-bookings at Rs. 21,000. In return, customers get priority delivery, special launch pricing benefits, and exclusive ‘Gang of Duster’ merchandise. In addition, a few lucky pre-booking customers will even get a chance to see their car being built, which makes the wait a little more exciting.
Bold New Design With Modern Touches
The 2026 Renault Duster arrives with a completely fresh design. At the front, rectangular LED headlamps with integrated DRLs give it a sharp look. The grille proudly carries the Duster name, while faux skid plates and side air vents add a rugged feel. Black plastic cladding runs around the body, which continues the SUV character.
Moving to the rear, the C-shaped LED taillights are joined by an LED light bar, which gives a modern appearance. There is also an integrated spoiler, a rear wiper, and a black insert on the tailgate. In addition, Renault offers blacked-out ORVMs, roof rails, alloy wheels, and B and C pillars. Buyers can choose from six colour options, including Jade Mountain Green and Sunset Red, along with dual-tone combinations. Overall, the new Duster looks tougher yet more stylish than before.
Interior Gets a Major Upgrade
Inside, the cabin has seen a huge update. The new three-spoke steering wheel features piano black elements, while a dual-screen layout sits on the dashboard. Ambient lighting and faux carbon fibre trims add a premium touch. In addition, the SUV now offers Type-C charging ports, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and a panoramic sunroof.
Its comfort features include dual-zone climate control, powered front seats, a powered tailgate, and 60:40 split rear seats. The car also comes with a 360-degree camera, six airbags, and Level 2 ADAS. Perhaps, these updates make the new Duster feel far more modern than its predecessor.
Three Engine Options on Offer
Renault has introduced multiple powertrain choices. The top option is a 1.8-litre petrol-hybrid engine producing 160bhp. There is also a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine with 160bhp, available with manual and DCT gearboxes. However, buyers looking for efficiency can choose the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with 100bhp and a manual gearbox.
