April 01, 2026, New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has concluded the 2025-26 financial year with a powerful performance, achieving 23,84,138 unit sales. This growth in the passenger vehicle section was driven by a rising demand for its Utility Vehicle portfolio and a surge in international exports.
In March 2026, Maruti Suzuki’s domestic passenger vehicle (PV) sales reached 1,66,219 units, marking a 10.27% increase. The FY25 March sales were 150,743 units. The total PV sales (incl. Exports and sales to other OEMs) is 2,22,042 units. While the March 2025 sales was 1,90,593 units, this shows a 16.5% YoY growth. The growth was notably balanced between the company's traditional compact car strength and its rapidly expanding SUV lineup. This time the Utility Vehicle segment nearly equaled the hatchback segment in monthly volumes.

Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer – Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India, commented on the company's focus on maintaining its leadership across segments:
"We are facing production constraints as the demand has been huge. Production constraints will continue for some more time till we expand capacity. The market seems to be pretty good. The tailwinds are very much there."
Maruti Suzuki ends FY26 with a triple record: its highest-ever total annual sales, a record domestic volume of 1.66 lakh units in March, and a historic peak in exports. With a balanced focus on SUVs, entry-level cars, and the newly introduced e-Vitara, the company is well-positioned to continue its dominance in the Indian automotive market for the upcoming fiscal year.
