Hyundai Motor India, Jio-bp Integrate EV Charging Networks: 37,000+ Points Now Accessible

Hyundai Motor India and Jio bp have partnered to expand EV charging access across India. Announced on August 25, 2026, the partnership integrates over 7,000 Jio bp pulse charging points.

This takes Hyundai’s charging ecosystem from 30,000+ to more than 37,000 points. EV users can discover and access these chargers through the myHyundai app. The move aims to make public charging easier and more reliable for EV owners. It also supports longer journeys through Jio bp’s presence along major national highways.

Hyundai EV Charging Network Expands

The partnership gives EV users access to more than 37,000 public charging points through the myHyundai app. The platform allows users to locate and access available charging stations across India.

Importantly, the charging network is not limited to Hyundai EV owners. EV users across brands can use charging points available through the app.

For buyers, this could reduce the need to switch between different platforms while planning charging stops.

Jio-bp Brings 7,000+ Charging Points

Jio bp contributes more than 7,000 active charging points across over 300 cities. Many charging stations are located along major national highways.

This network can support EV owners during longer intercity journeys. Jio bp also operates high capacity DC fast chargers ranging from 60 kW to 480 kW.

The company says its charging network has a 96% uptime. This is aimed at improving reliability when EV users need to charge.

HMIL Plans 600 DC Fast Chargers By 2030

Hyundai Motor India currently operates 183 proprietary DC fast charging stations. The company plans to expand this network to 600 stations by 2030. HMIL’s DC fast chargers will also gradually become available through the Jio bp pulse charge pro app. This includes existing operational stations and future installations.

The two networks will therefore become accessible across both digital platforms over time.
