Hyundai Adds 30,000+ EV Charging Points to myHyundai App

Hyundai Motor India has expanded its EV charging ecosystem by integrating more than 30,000 charging points across India into the myHyundai app. Developed in partnership with multiple Charge Point Operators (CPOs) and service providers, the platform is open to electric vehicles of all brands.

Through a single app, users can locate charging stations, book charging slots, navigate to charging locations, and make digital payments. Hyundai says the network provides charging access within an average radius of 25 km, making EV travel more convenient across the country.

Hyundai to Expand Proprietary Fast-Charging Network

Alongside its partner network, Hyundai is expanding its own public charging infrastructure. The company currently operates 183 DC fast-charging stations across 105 cities and plans to increase this number to 600 stations by 2030. These chargers, offering outputs between 60 kW and 240 kW, will be installed across key cities, highways, and Hyundai dealerships, while remaining accessible to EV owners of all brands through the myHyundai app.

Speaking about the initiative, Tarun Garg, Managing Director and CEO, Hyundai Motor India, said the company is committed to expanding EV charging access across India. He added that integrating multiple charging points into one platform will make EV charging more convenient for users. He also said the expanded network will support the growth of India's electric vehicle ecosystem and encourage wider EV adoption.

Charging Network Covers Major Highway Routes

The integrated charging network includes several major highway corridors, such as Delhi-Gurgaon-Jaipur, Mumbai-Pune-Bengaluru, Mumbai-Ratnagiri-Goa, Chennai-Vellore-Bengaluru, and Hyderabad-Kurnool-Bengaluru. Hyundai has strategically located many charging stations near restaurants and food outlets, allowing users to recharge both their vehicles and themselves during long journeys.

According to the company, its proprietary charging network has already served more than 3 lakh EV users and delivered over 50 lakh kWh of electricity since operations began. Hyundai also said the use of its charging infrastructure between January 2023 and June 2026 helped reduce approximately 3.5 million kg of CO₂ emissions.

More Hyundai EVs on the Way

Hyundai currently offers the Creta Electric and Ioniq 5 in the Indian market. The company has also confirmed plans to launch a new mass-market electric SUV during the current financial year. With this upcoming model, Hyundai aims to strengthen its EV lineup and expand its presence in India's fast-growing electric vehicle segment.
