Google News

Ferrari India has officially launched the Amalfi Spider at a starting price of Rs 4.6 crore, before options. Arriving four months after its global debut, this new open-top model expands Ferrari's grand tourer lineup in the country, commanding a premium of Rs 52 lakh over its fixed-roof coupe counterpart.
Powertrain and Performance
The Amalfi Spider retains the exact same mechanical setup as the coupe model. It features a rear-wheel-drive configuration paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Despite an 86-kilogram weight increase due to its folding mechanism, the drop-top delivers nearly identical acceleration and speed metrics.
- Engine Output: The car delivers 640hp and 760Nm of peak torque.
- Acceleration: The model completes the 0-100kph sprint in 3.3 seconds.
- Top Speed: The vehicle is capable of hitting a maximum speed of 320kph.
Design and Features
The main visual differentiator for the convertible is its specialized five-layer fabric roof. This mechanism opens in just 13.5 seconds and can operate at driving speeds of up to 60kph. Ferrari offers four color options for the fabric top, designed to match hard-top cabin insulation.
