Exterior Design Revisions and Cabin Upgrades

The mid-cycle facelift updates the sedan’s signature presence while maximizing onboard screen space.

  • Front End Enhancements: The sedan features an enlarged front grille filled with chrome-garnished three-pointed stars and a new illuminated border.
  • Lighting Signatures: The revised 'Digital Light' LED headlamps and slim rear tail-lamps now incorporate dynamic three-pointed star motifs.
  • MBUX Superscreen Architecture: The wood-trimmed dashboard is replaced by a massive glass housing containing a 14.4-inch central touchscreen and dual 12.3-inch displays.
  • Rear Chauffeur Comfort: The executive rear seats retain a 43.5-degree recline angle with full ventilation, heating, and massage features.
  • Updated Controls: The previous 7-inch central rear armrest tablet is replaced by two independent smartphone-like wireless controllers.

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz S-Class facelift commands a ₹35 lakh premium over its predecessor due to its advanced engineering. The introduction of local PHEV assembly offers high performance alongside low emission capability. Customer deliveries are officially scheduled to begin during the Q4 2026 Diwali season, where it will primarily challenge the BMW 7 Series.
