2026 Mahindra Bolero Bold Edition Launched: New Features and Key Details

Mahindra introduced the 2026 Mahindra Bolero Bold Edition in India on October 21, 2026, adding bronze exterior accents, updated seat upholstery and a rear view camera.

However, the new edition is an accessories package rather than a separate variant. It retains the existing diesel engine, manual gearbox and rear wheel drive setup. Mahindra has not announced the package price, so buyers should confirm the additional cost with their dealerships before placing an order.

2026 Mahindra Bolero Bold Edition: What's New?

The biggest change is the bronze styling theme, which gives the familiar Bolero a different appearance. The front grille, bumper details and fog lamp surrounds receive bronze accents.

The package also adds bronze finished alloy wheels, roof rails, outside rear view mirror accents and updated side cladding. These changes distinguish it from the standard Bolero without altering its familiar boxy design.

Inside, the Mahindra car gets black leatherette seats with bronze detailing. Edition specific floor mats are also included in the package.

A rear view camera is another important addition. It can help drivers reverse and park the SUV in tight spaces, particularly where rear visibility is limited.

Accessories Package, Not a New Variant

Buyers should understand what Mahindra is offering before paying extra. The Bold Edition comes as an exclusive accessories package, and the company has not disclosed its price.

Engine and Mechanical Setup Remain Unchanged

The 2026 Mahindra Bolero Bold Edition retains the existing 1.5 litre, three cylinder mHawk diesel engine. It produces 74.9 bhp and 210 Nm of torque.

A five speed manual gearbox sends power to the rear wheels. Mahindra has not announced any mechanical changes alongside the new accessories package.

Therefore, buyers should not expect additional power or a different driving experience from the Bold Edition. Its main appeal lies in the revised styling and added parking convenience.

Rivals and What Buyers Should Consider

Buyers comparing rugged SUVs can also consider the Mahindra Bolero Neo, Force Gurkha and Maruti Suzuki Jimny. However, these models differ in positioning, capability and pricing, so buyers should compare their requirements carefully.

The Bold Edition may appeal to customers who want a more distinctive Bolero without changing its familiar mechanical package. But the unannounced accessories price remains important for budget conscious buyers.

Before booking, confirm the package cost, eligible variants and whether the rear view camera is included in the quoted price. The standard Bolero's existing price does not include the undisclosed Bold Edition package cost.
