Renault Duster Variants: Which One Should You Buy?

The Renault Duster is available in 19 total variants based on engine types, transmission types and 6 trim names. The trim names are Authentic, Evolution, Techno, Techno+, Iconic and Iconic Launch Edition. For different use types, the best variant(s) are as follows:

  • Best for Families: The Techno Plus 1.3 Turbo is best for large families who generally want panoramic sunroof and dual-zone climate control features. For long trips, it offers a 50-litre fuel tank through which the vehicle can easily manage to go around 900 kms in one fill.

  • Best for Highway Drives: If you like highway drives or frequently travel long distances than Iconic 1.3 turbo (both Manual and DCT) are compatible. This is because they have ADAS for better handling overall road risks. The 163hp power is enough for making easy overtakes and driving on high speeds.

  • Best for City Drives: For dealing heavy traffic, Evolution 1.3 Turbo DCT is the most practical choice. The AMT gearbox takes away the stress of manually shifting gears and the 10.1 inch touchscreen inside comforts the passenger. Along with this, the rear camera helps in effective parking in tight urban spots

  • Best Value for Money: The Techno 1.0 Turbo offers the best balance. You get high-end features like the panoramic sunroof and wireless charging without paying the higher price of the 1.3-litre engine. It works well for buyers who mostly drive in the city but want a premium feel.
