New Hyundai Venue HX5+ Launched: More Features at Rs. 9.99 Lakh

Hyundai Motor India has expanded the variant lineup of its popular compact SUV, the all-new Venue, by introducing a new HX5+ trim. It is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and offers more features without moving to the top-end versions. With this launch, Hyundai is trying to strengthen its position in the highly competitive compact SUV segment. Lets’s know more about this newly launched variant of Hyundai Venue.
New HX5+ Variant Brings More Comfort and Features
The Hyundai Venue HX5+ is powered by the familiar 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine, which produces 82 bhp and is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. While the engine remains unchanged, the new trim adds several comfort and convenience features over the HX5 variant.
In addition, the HX5+ now comes with quad beam LED headlamps, roof rails, and a rear window sunshade, wich gives the SUV a more premium look. Inside the cabin, Hyundai has added a wireless smartphone charger, a driver armrest with storage, and a rear wiper and washer.
The driver-side power window also gets an auto up and down function, which improves everyday usability. According to Hyundai, these additions are based on customer feedback.
HX4 Variant Also Receives an Update
However, the HX5+ is not the only update in the Venue lineup. Hyundai has also enhanced the HX4 variant by adding driver seat height adjustment as standard. This small but useful change improves driving comfort, especially for longer journeys.
Hyundai’s Managing Director and CEO, Tarun Garg, shared that the second-generation Venue has already crossed 50,000 bookings since its launch. He also mentioned that the brand continues to fine-tune its offerings to match changing customer needs.
Engine Options and Competition
The second-gen Hyundai Venue, launched in November 2025, is available with three engine options. These include the 1.2-litre petrol, a more powerful 1.0-litre Turbo GDi petrol with manual and DCT options, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine with both manual and automatic gearboxes.
Furthermore, higher variants offer features like multiple drive modes, terrain traction modes, and paddle shifters. The Venue competes with strong rivals such as the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV3XO, Skoda Kylaq, and Kia Syros.
Overall, the new HX5+ variant adds more value to the Venue lineup and gives buyers another well-balanced option to consider.
